Tulsa at last!

Hey all,

Jesus, can you believe it's been ten years since I lived in OK??? In brief, the move was a total nightmare, but we're here! I started work this past Monday, love the new job, and am just starting to explore Tulsa a little bit more. (Any recommendations over Starbase 21 for my comics fix?) We're living out of boxes in a tiny 6 month rental over on 5th Street while we figure out where to buy, schools for Christopher, yadda yadda...

When's the next game?!?

Things I remember that I love about Oklahoma:
Braum's, game days, OSU, people who wave at you, Taco Bueno, cherry limeades, Hideaway shrooms, A/C on a hot day, OU, Sonic, used book stores, free parking, Mazzio's, breathable air, BBQ trucks set up right in front of the gas station, all things Joes (Eskimo, Mexico, Clothes), cheap gasoline, Weber's Root Beer, Goldie's pickle bar... there's much more but that's off the top of my head...

Welcome back Stewbie, it's great we'll all be able to get together again!     

So I am assuming by gameday you mean Pelicar and not OSU Football?  We are discussing Sunday, Oct 21st. as a potential date.  Football games make this time of year rather difficult to schedule a saturday where everyone can attend. 

Are you thinking about joining in on the monthly sessions?  That would be awesome!  The more the merrier.

I'd like to join in on the monthly Pelicar game. The Oct 21 date won't work for me, but please don't try to plan around me. Just let me know any future dates and I'll make arrangements. And, of course, you guys should plan on calling me any time you are up T-Town way!

Hey Stew,

It's great to have you back.  Like Darren said, Football season makes finding an open weekend tough.  We didn't play last month and October is even worse.  I can't see us playing until November.
