Slow internet

Has anyone that has Cox noticed slower than normal performance the last two days?

The issue here was the result of a tap in another apartment injecting noise into the line which was causing problems with uploading(upstream) information and occasional A/V dropouts with cable TV. This is what was causing packets being sent out to fetch information from the net to be lost.

I noticed a couple Cox trucks in the complex while I was taking the trash out and spoke with them and that's what they told me.

My latest line quality test now shows no problems or packet-loss.

I've noticed DNS-lookup issues over the last month. I've been trying to confirm that it is not my own equipment. However, when I reboot my modem it gets better. If I only reboot my router, it doesn't seem to make much difference. (For what that's worth)

I have this theory that networks have been having increasing problems.  Over the last few months I've noticed a lot more problems at work and at home.  It's not just the internet, it's also cell phones and the credit card modem.  It's probably nothing, but my over active imagination is working on a good story.
