We'll it's summer and time to move again.

O.K. I'm really not excited either.  Well, I'm excited to get into a nicer place and closer to work.  I'll miss all the ants and roaches, but I'm sure they'll be fine without me.  I'm not excited about lugging all my heavy ass shit down and up stairs all weekend.  We are going to start Friday night, that's the 15th.  Then we'll just see how long it takes.  I fugure we'll be done sometimes Sunday, but if enough volunteers show up maybe Friday.

What? Did he say volunteers?    Of course, I did.   Anybody who shows up will be greatly appreciated and not a thing remembered against anyone who doesn't.

  HEY! Let's stick to the subject! This thread is about how to avoid from helping Lew move. Let's be more prudent with out posts!

On a serious note, Lew - are you taking Friday off to start or waiting until evening?

Well..  I will be in the area since I have two interviews on Friday in OKC.  One's with Dell with their Client Services Group.  They handle corporate and military accounts... as such if I got it, I'd have to get security clearance.   

The other is with an IT Placement firm.  Technically the later is not really an interview.. they're just a middle man.

I'll be wearing a suit.. I should take a picture being that wearing one is such as rare occurance lately LOL..
Anyway, I will be staying at my folks over the weekend so I'd be in a position to help.  Just lemme know where and when.  I'll actually be going down today sometime.. I need to go on a recon mission and find these places LOL..

Security Clearance is not a big deal. I got mine when I worked for BTG. If they'll let me have one, you'll be fine. Its a long set of paperwork, but the anal-probe is the worse part.

Sorry, for not being more active.  Greer's computers have been down for a day and a half.     So the moving plan is this.

Friday night.  We will be home around 6, we will make at least one trip with boxes and light stuff.  The more people we have the more trips we make.  I will be happy with one trip, so please don't feel pressured into helping tonight.  Of course, I'll be even happier with more trips so If your not doing anything . . . . .

Saterday.  Two guys and a big truck will show up at the apartment a 9 a.m.  That's acutally the name of the moving service.  They are getting most of the big stuff so us old farts will hopefully just be handling the little stuff.

Well, I realize you will not read this until later, but I thought I'd let you know I can't assist today either. Currently, I have a house for of girls (and their all under age - way under age). So, I have become "house-sitting dad" today. I hope all goes smoothly - and sorry I was unable to help.
