Role Play

[Snazle]

Recently Lew told me 'bout the role playing part of the forum. I was wondering if I may intoduce Snazzle into it or do I need to actually be in the campaign first?

That's probably a call for Lew to make...since there has not been a formal explanation of who Snazzle is or when we are introduced to him, then it makes it difficult to include you in the role-playing. However, once Lew gives these details, there is no reason you should have to wait until the next session to start developing your character via the board.

A couple of notes, we have gotten use to certain standards...but we can fill you in along the way. We tend to have "colors" for our characters that we use when role-playing on the board. It makes it a little easier to visually recognize who is speaking when. This is more important for people with more than one character, but it also clearly defines whether something was said "in or out" of character. Silly little things like that...you should catch on pretty quickly. No one will fillet you for making a mistake...the first time (just kidding). But have some thick skin; we can get rough and not realize we are doing it. Someone usually ropes the rest of us in when we get ourselves out of hand. Remember, most of us have known each other for years, decades even.

I look forward to you adding to our on-line role playing. Maybe Darren can get a brief explanation from Lew today and post it. Then is you want to pick a color for your dialogue, just post it and Mark (Head) will program it.
